Pet care experience
Me in a nutshell: I have a helpful & giving heart and completely understand how hard it is to leave your beloved animal(s) when adventure awaits. I have a cat and dog that I just looove & feel sad to leave; so I get it! However, traveling is necessary, fun and important. That's where I come in! I will meet with you, learn the routine of your animal(s) and absolutely have their best interest in mind every minute you are gone. I house sit with my dog, Murphy. He is chill, loves to play chase and will make your dog feel he or she is also on vacation! Please read my reviews and reach out if I can help you enjoy your next travel adventure.

I live a very busy and hectic life. My schedule changes frequently due to Search And Rescue missions and wild land fires so I generally have to pick up and leave at a moment's notice a lot. For the first 8 years of my dogs life they were able to join me on the road for 99% of my travels but now that I am home more with these new jobs,I need to find a babysitter for my two often. Emily has been not only that, but the person I trust more than anyone to take my two and not only watch, but exercise, feed and love them while I'm gone. There's never a dull moment for them. When she has them, I usually receive a series of videos and snap chats to prove that they are being entertained. Having a border collie and corgi now both over ten years old and needing a little more special attention there's no one I would trust more to take them.
I have known Emily for 3 years. We recently had her stay at our house for two weeks to watch our 3 dogs. Knowing that Emily was going to be taking care of them, I wasn’t even stressed about leaving them. Emily took them on daily hikes, have necessary medication to our senior dog, and most importantly, gave them all love and affection. I honestly think our dogs were bummed when we got home and Emily had to leave. Emily is a fun, active and extremely dependable person. I am extremely happy that we found someone like her to care for our pets when we travel.

I have no breed preference or age preference. I would like to know if there are any special needs for your pet so I can best provide care. It would also be nice to know its overall daily behaviors and routines. I try my best to keep to that same schedule! And to know the rules - is/are your pet(s) allowed on furniture, to sleep on your bed, given human food at all?
A typical day
Murphy and I enjoy being out on trails, at dog parks - Snowfill and Gallatin Regional Park, walks around the neighborhood and playing chase in the backyard. I am flexible and will cater to what your dog(s) normally does for adventure and exercise.

Availability
I currently work Tuesday-Saturday for about 7 hours a day. My dog comes to work with me and my cat is a total homebody. I am flexible with scheduling. I can be a short, long or ongoing caretaker.
