I work from home, so I specialize in watching smaller to midsized dogs that benefit from having extra attention (and cuddles) all day long - especially those pups who suffer from attachment issues and struggle when left alone all day. It makes my life better when I know I'm watching a pup so he/she isn't left in a kennel when their families go away - because those are an extra sad place for pups with attachment needs. My mutual love and respect for pups started with my first stuffed animal (a puppy I named "Puppy"), my dog coloring books, and my first love: my Beagle, Cocoa. I will love and treat your dog with discipline, respect, & calm care - and plenty of cuddles, if your pup so pleases. Emily was AWESOME! She watched our spoiled little poodle all day long while we attended our son's out of town wedding. We made us feel so confident that our little baby would be in good hands, happy and safe, so we could enjoy our special day. Zeus had a great day of walks and snuggles and Emily kept us update throughout the day so we wouldn't worry. Definitely recommend her and hope to find a chance to use her again!
Emily is a loving, caring, trustworthy person whose sweet beagle girl, Cocoa, passed over the rainbow bridge a few years ago. She was an energetic walker and playmate for Cocoa. Emily is ultra responsible and empathetic, patient and kind, and would go out of her way to care for a dog properly. Like a good parent, she is consistent, clear and firm in doggy direction. Most of all, she is honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend her for a dog caregiver.

I am best with smaller dogs who need physical attention, like cuddles, because I am very comfortable in administering calming energy - however, if a pup needs a little more alone time, I respect that highly. Before I sit a dog, I'd like to know their routine so I can plan my work day/errands around it - and I'd also like to know how much they bark, because I have close neighbors.
A typical day
We'll walk around our Bloomington neighborhood, five minutes from Bryan Park - and then we'll walk around Bryan Park! When we come back inside we'll play with toys, a little tug of war action, or perhaps some fetch - we'll cuddle and lounge on the couch while I get work done on my computer.
