My name is Emily and I am a grad student at UNCW. I live in the Wilmington area permanently. I love dogs and have been taking care of them professionally for twelve years. I also worked for a pet sitting company in my hometown for six years and I have a great amount of experience with all kinds of pets. I understand that people care greatly about their pets, as I have one of my own who has my heart, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that both the owners and their pets are happy and cared for. I hope to get to know you and your pet(s) better and provide the best care that I can!

Emily is consistently our go-to sitter in Wilmington! Caesar always has a great time, and comes home happy and tired from playing with Emily and her sweet pup. Thank you for being so good to him!
We have booked Emily three times, and Caesar is always thrilled to see her! He instantly jumps in her car, smiling, and comes home tired as a dog. Emily sends pictures throughout Caesar's stay, during which he is often snuggling with her or her sweet pup, or playing in the yard. I highly recommend using Emily, and will be sad to not have her around after we make our move out of Wilmington. Thanks, Emily!
Emily was wonderful! Caesar returned happy, and tired, clearly having had a wonderful weekend away with Emily and her sweet pup. We received lots of pictures, and Emily was very responsive over the app. We will be rebooking soon!
Emily was absolutely wonderful! She walked, fed and played with our 2 dogs (one 5 pound poodle and one 14 pound poodle mix) for 3 months. She was reliable, caring, had excellent communication, and both of our boys absolutely adored her. She was especially patient and caring with our older dog. I would absolutely recommend her, and hope to rehire her when we come back to NC! :)

When visiting a pet at their home, I try to make things as natural to the pet as possible by following the instructions of the owner precisely. I never let a pet out of my sight and ensure that they have all the love and attention that they need while I am there.

I always ask if your pet is taking any medications or if there is anything special to their diet so that their health is the top priority. I also like to know how they interact with other dogs and people so that I am aware of any boundaries that need to be set on walks.
A typical day
A typical day with your dog involves a walk around the neighborhood or playtime at a nearby dog park. I like to get as much of a dog’s energy out as possible when I am with them so that they rest the whole time I am away.
