Hi! I'm Emily, I'm a 31-year-old Chicago transplant with a passion for pets! My boyfriend Josh and I have three amazing fur babies with whom we share a condo! Our dog, Miss Penny Lane is an Australian Shepherd and the love of my life (sshh, don't tell Josh)! They say Aussies are velcro dogs and Penny certainly fits the bill. We go on long walks every day and hikes as often as we can. She loves to snuggle with her kitty-cats and playing with new friends! We live near three great dog parks and go daily. We also have two cats, Tigger and Finn. They are both such snugglers and have such strong and individual personalities! Tigger has been my partner-in-crime since I was a junior in high school, he even makes appearances in my prom pictures! He lived with me in college and later moved with me to NYC, Philly, Michigan and now Chicago! He tells me when he wants more treats by knocking things off the counter, very effective. Finn, is a Bombay and joined our team when we were in NYC. He is typical Bombay, extremely talkative and very much my shadow and when he can't find me walks around the apartment meowing until I call him. Why I love dog sitting/walking I have loved dogs as long as I can remember! My first family dog, Tickles, was a golden retriever we got when I was 6 and even came with my family when we lived in Hong Kong. When we got back to the states we adopted an extended family member of Tickles', another golden, Princess Leia. When my love Tickles passed away we got our first Australian Shepherd, Sookie. That's when I fell in love with Aussies. When I moved out of my parents' house I just needed to fill that void and adopted Miss Pen! I am that person who at a party will most likely be found sitting on the floor playing with dogs so dog sitting and walking is just another excuse to surround myself with pups! Administering Medication I give Miss Penny shots weekly and pills daily so if your pup needs some medication I am happy to do so.
