I have loved and cared for many animals; including the rescued and homeless, elderly and special needs, working (service and farm) animals and wild animals. My closest relationships are with Bonnie, my special baby kitty. I adopted her weaned too young and severely sick with coccidia contracted from her Mom. She is now a healthy and brave 4 year old girl! I am a current caregiver to Fret, a goofy and loving rescue dog who my family and I are helping to overcome his reactivity and separation anxiety. Fret's BFF is Eddy, a service Poodle in training who will be able to predict his Mom's fainting spells (amazing)! In addition to this, I grew up alongside an Akita named Zoki. Despite her loyal and complacent nature, Zoki was highly reactive to other animals as she was also ill as a puppy and was unable to be properly socialized. In her old age she developed hip dysplasia and needed extra help with stairs and standing up, as a young girl making sure Zoki got the attention she needed was my job while my parents were working. She was my beloved big sister and my first doggy love. There are many more individually special connections I've made with so many animals, too many to list as much as I love to share their stories! I feel strongly that I highly understand animals and how to give all sorts and any kind of special attention your baby needs. I love animals like nothing else and would love to apply this passion to working with you and your pup!
