Pet care experience
I have enjoyed dog-sitting in my home because I love watching the dogs run around and play in our large backyard; it gives them new things to explore. My dog, Dax, is very friendly and loves to play. Even my cats love meeting other animals, so no worries there! My house has a large fenced backyard, so there will be lots of room for your animal to run around and play. We are also located a long a nice bike/walking trail that provides a safe place for walks. I will accept puppies, however they must be house broken and crate trained. I live in Billings, MT. I graduated from Rocky Mountain College with a biology degree in May 2018. I enjoy being out in nature with my family, which includes my pets, of course. My mom and I have a strong relationship and we like to go camping and hiking together in the summer. We'll even take your pup on a day hike in the mountains for a small additional fee! For over 10 years, I have been pet-sitting cats, dogs, cattle, horses, and chickens. This animal lover is available to work almost any schedule necessary and I am responsible, patient, and outgoing.

Emily is our favorite sitter. She is very understanding and our two girls love going to her house. She is accommodating and keeps us updated on our pups while we are away.
Emily was great. It’s hard and stressful leaving your pet behind to go on vacation, but Emily was great about relieving me of that stress. She’d send me a daily update and Delilah was clearly enjoying her vacation too. I’d definitely bring her back if I needed a sitter in that area again

We have a secure fenced backyard and a pup of our own to keep yours company! We have a baby gate to keep pets out of the kitchen as an additional safety measure. We are also more than happy to crate your pet if that is what they are used to. We have several sizes of wire kennels available or you can bring your own! All kennels and bowls are sanitized between clients and all pets are required to have proof of recent vaccinations, including kennel cough.

The more I know about a dog beforehand, the better. Some things I like to know about a dog are: -Do they get along with other dogs? -Do they have a regular feeding & bathroom schedule? -Do they get aggressive or protective over food? -Are they good about being off leash? -Do they chew a lot? -Do they have a favorite toy? -Are they allowed on the furniture? -Do they use a crate? -Do they bark at noises/strangers? -How are they with new people, children, or animals? -Do they have separation anxiety or nervous tendencies?
A typical day
We love taking walks along the bike path by our house and being outside. If your pup loves playing fetch, we have plenty of tennis balls. We also have a small pool for when it gets hot in the summer if your dog enjoys the water. We have plenty of fun around here!

Availability
I currently work part time, so I have plenty of free time to provide care and fun for your pets! My schedule allows for 2 walks a day or up to four 30 minute check ins for in-home pets. For dogs boarding with me, they are able to have potty breaks every 2-5 hours and get lots of playtime in every day.
