Hi, I'm Emily! I am lifelong dog owner from the US that moved to the Hackney area almost two years ago. I took a break from Rover and now I am back! So to find a place to put all my pet love, I walk and love your dogs and housesit cats! I am a safe, dedicated, and experienced dog walker who can't wait to meet your pet. My last dogs were a Golden Retriever and a Pomeranian, but my family also has had German Shepards and Poodles. I work at a hospital currently. Since I have a flexible work schedule, I have the opportunity to walk dogs while their owners are still at work. I look forward to meeting your pets and I am grateful I get opportunity to! I am available in Hackney and the London area. When I am with dogs and pets, I give them my full attention. I am attentive with walking and have experience with many types of leashes and putting on harnesses. I am attentive to my surroundings including other dogs, children, and cars. I am COVID-vaccinated and make sure to wash my hands frequently when taking care of pets.

I left my 3 month old puppy Chunk with Emily on New Years Eve and I couldn't recommend more!! Chunk is very anxious when I leave him and she did an amazing job at reassuring & calming him down. Communication throughout the night was great and I got lots of updates & pictures on how he was doing. He was very calm and relaxed when I got back late at night and fell asleep straight away when I put him to bed. I was fully at ease with Chunk in Emily's care! Will definitely book again! Emily’s great - friendly, reliable, knowledgable about dogs. She takes great care of Charlie, careful to follow any instructions. Charlie can get anxious when we leave but she’s always happy to be left with Emily and I’m happy knowing she’s in safe hands!
Emily helped us out at very short notice and was excellent with Toffee.
Emily was great! Super friendly, and brilliant with Marlee. We will definitely be using her again! I felt totally at ease leaving our little doggy with her!

I have experience with all types of leashes, harnesses and collars. I stay off my phone when walking so I can be aware of my surroundings depending on each dog's needs- whether it is avoiding chicken bones, squirrels, or a leaf moving across the sidewalk if that isn't your dog's thing, I make sure I am paying attention!
Information Emily N. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know if the dog is on any medication. Besides that it is always helpful for me to know a dog's triggers for walks such as leaves, squirrels, birds, other dogs, etc. so I can be particularly attentive to those triggers during a walk.
A typical day
I love long walks with dogs and spending time in parks. I always respect owner's wishes with on versus off leash dogs and make sure the dogs get a lot of exercise either way if that is something their breed wants. I also like to give dogs attention in the home, either brushing their fur or sitting with them when their owners are out of town and they need that extra love!

Availability
I work 3-4 days a week at a hospital on the long shift model. I typically have time here and there to do walk dogs, checking my calendar is the best option.
