Pet care experience
I've had cats my entire life until about a year ago. I've done dog sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors both in the past (as a teenager and young adult in my 20s) and very recently, and cat-sitting for friends, as well. I'm patient and gentle with animals, and both dogs and cats seem to really like me as much as I like them.

Emily is wonderful in caring for my dog. She is a lover of animals of all kinds, and it shows in her care for my dog, who responds very well to her and is always extra excited to see her. Emily is also trustworthy and a great communicator--which as any dog owner knows is really important! I first asked her to walk my dog a few times, and was great in providing me with updates about how my dog did. As a result of her care for my dog, I asked her to dog sit for a couple of days while I am traveling. I highly recommend her!
Emily is a wonderful petsitter. She has taken care of our cat, Turing and our turtle Burt while we have traveled several times. She provided us regular updates on how they were doing and also made sure that the house was safe and secure. We asked her to vary her schedule to turn on and off the lights while we were gone so it looked lived in and she was happy to help. Both our cat and turtle adore Emily and so do we!

I don't have any pets at the moment, and unfortunately where I live doesn't allow dogs at all, so I will only be able to do walks and visits in clients' homes.

I'm happy to take your dog to the dog park, you can let me know if you have a dog park or regular park near your home that you like. I'm also happy to play your pet's favorite game with them, like fetch, and provide plenty of scratches and snuggles.
