When I was younger, my family had a Husky-Shar Pei mix so from the start I learned how to correctly handle ‘strong-headed’ dogs. Through the years I have also had significant interactions with Bulldogs, Rottweilers, and Labs. I have always been eager to walk & play with any dog and am very respectful towards any rules. I also have taken care of my friends’ dogs while they’re on vacation. I would make sure to feed each dog their correct food (if they had more than 1), make sure they got outside time, and overall ensure their dogs had a normal day as if their family never left!
