Hello! My name is Emily and dogs are part of who I am. I grew up with an amazing golden retriever and every dog since has strengthened my appreciation. I'm sensitive to their "language" and enjoy how every dog/breed has their own personality and traits that make them SO special. My husband and I are caring, patient people who believe in a structured day and positive reinforcement. We actively practice being calm, assertive and above all, LOVING with all the dogs in our care, who we always treat with the same TLC we give our own pups I understand that dogs are FAMILY members, and my goal is to make families HAPPY. I send daily updates with photos and am always available to check in with. I do my best to provide the care and updates that I would appreciate if I were leaving my own pup with a sitter. We offer flexible drop off and pick up times. We have a large fenced yard that has been "puppy proofed" for little escape artists. One side of the yard has a 6 foot fence and the other side a 5 foot fences, the back/front are 4 feet (pictures in my profile). During winter months, we are very sensitive to dogs being out in the cold. We are happy to put on coats and sweaters as well as apply any TLC needs, like paw soothers, wrinkle cream, snout soothers, etc. Also am sensitive to the heat during the summer! I have a little plastic pool they can play in if they want. We want to make their time here enjoyable! And safe! Dogs are welcome to cuddle with us on the couch and in bed, and you're welcome to bring his/her bed, crates etc, anything you think would make them feel more comfortable. 😊 I also know doggy CPR (I have 1 save) Being animal lovers, we also have 3 young cats, all great with dogs, but as such we can ONLY accept dogs who are cat friendly. Tiny dogs are not a huge concern, but we cannot accept any large dogs with high prey drives for small animals. Thank you for your understanding! I must meet every dog first to assess if their energy is good for match for your dog, my dogs and myself. I am disabled and use a cane to get around. Please note I tend to wait for dogs to approach me during meet and greets. I do this because I am being polite and waiting for them to feel comfortable 😊 To sum up my husband and I treat every dog with love and compassion as a member of our family!
