Pet care experience
I’ve owned and been around dogs since I was five years old. Growing up I took on many of the responsibilities of feeding, training and walking my dogs due to my parents being divorced. I am experienced in owning and being around several different breeds of dogs of all shapes and sizes such as Golden Retrievers, Huskies, Greyhounds, Labs, Yorkiepoos, Pitties, Aussies and more! I just graduated from nursing school and am a proud dog mom of a 5 month golden retriever and would be happy to take care of your fur baby just as if it was my own! In addition to owning many dogs growing up I also dog sat for many neighbors and family friends that relied on me to feed, walk, and care for their pups! Additionally, growing up I owned a diabetic dog and cat who I helped give insulin shots to so I am very comfortable in giving shots or medications to your pet as needed! I promise you that if leave your dog with me they will be in safe hands and have a dog gone good time!

Emily is the embodiment of a caring, loving person. While working as a pediatric nurse she puts her heart and soul into caring for her young patients and at home provides the same energy and love to her golden retriever Maggie. She has showered all the pets she has owned or looked after with affection and care and I guarantee she’ll do the same to yours!
Emily has watched my dog Bandy on multiple occasions when I have gone out of town on vacation and always does a great job taking care of her! She is attentive and detail oriented to my dog's needs and there is no one I would trust more to take care of Bandy! I would 10/10 recommend her to walk or dog-sit your pup!
Emily is a fantastic caregiver for my elderly dog. She is a loving and extremely trustworthy. I have used her several times to let out my dog at midday while I am at work. She is reliable and my dog loves her! She spends extra time giving him cuddles, treats and making sure he has plenty of water before putting him back in his kennel.

I live in a ground floor apartment that is very spacious and has a lot of green area surrounding the complex. There are many walking paths around my complex and a dog park so I can guarantee your pup will get their energy out if they stay with me! I am also happy to take care of dogs in a client’s home because I understand most dogs are happiest and most comfortable in a familiar environment! My biggest priority as a dog walker and sitter is making sure your puppy is happy and safe! I promise if you entrust your dog with me it will be a paws-itive experience!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences I should know about before meeting them! I am happy to do a meet and greet with your dog prior to walking or sitting for them so that your dog will be more comfortable with me coming into the home. Please also let me know if your dog is reactive in any way such being as reactive to other dogs or things like thunderstorms so I can protect them to the best of my ability when walking and dog sitting for your fur baby.
A typical day
I love to engage and entertain pups by talking them on long walks and hikes, playing with a variety of different toys that help challenge their mind (such as a snuffle mat), taking them on car ride adventures, and giving them cuddles galore!

Availability
I work 5 days a week as an outpatient pediatric nurse so I am not available most weekdays ! I am available on most weekends to walk or babysit your fur baby! I am also happy to let your pup out after I get off my shift at 5:00 p.m.! I am also willing to overnight dog sit for your pup as needed!
