Pet care experience
Animals have been my greatest interest since childhood! I have spent so much of my life researching, caring, and getting better at understanding pets of all types. Volunteering at animal shelters and rescue farms since my early teens, I feel that I have the knowledge and compassion to care for pets of all kinds and behaviors. I specialize in caring for multi-pet households, as that feels most comfortable to me, but single pet homes are welcome too! I have knowledge and understanding of animal behaviors and I put one hundred percent effort into caring for your animals as well as you would. Comfort and routine make your vacation a breeze for your pets, and I’m here to supply that :) *I am open to caring for many species beyond dogs and cats and have ‘exotic’ pets myself :) *All breeds accepted *Committed to finding what works best for each specific household

She was so nice and caring to my little dog, even in the rain she walked him the whole 30 min. She is very dependable and on time. I will use her when I need a dog sitter/walker again.
Emily was a dream house sitter! She clearly loves animals and has good intuition about getting to know them and figuring out what they need. This worked out well for her taking care of my elderly golden retriever. She communicated frequently with me, which eased my mind. She left the house spotless. I will definitively use her again!

Honesty is the best policy when telling me about your dogs or other pets behavior. Knowing ahead of time about things like leash or food aggression will help me make safe choices when taking care of your pets. I work with individual animals and their individual needs so knowing all of the information is a big help!
A typical day
Activities will be planned based on each dogs specific needs! I like fast paced walks, strolls, and playing with your dog, but I also don’t mind sitting on the floor with your senior dog so they’re not lonely while you’re gone.

Availability
My schedule is pretty flexible, I work part time as a waitress, so generally I have the entire day to spend with your pets! I am often available for walks during the day and enjoy planning them before my shifts at my ‘regular’ job. I work evenings around 4pm-9pm, but this can be adjusted for animals with greater needs especially with notice.
