Experienced dog cuddler

Pet care experience

Growing up on a small holding, I have been surrounded by animals since forever! My family currently have 5 labradors, including my girl Poppy and her daughter Tally. They all rotate in and out of my house to get some one-one-one time for extra cuddles and training. With my love of animals, it's no surprise that I am a (mature) vet student. I am, therefore, trained in animal handling and have a good understanding of your precious pups and their needs. Being a student, I am home all day and able to provide your animal with all the attention they need. I live alone my cat, Sydney, who has grown up with dogs. I am in a cute terrace house with a sunny garden that's perfect for quick toliet breaks and little ball games.

Emily is a very experienced dog (and cat) owner and will take excellent care of your four legged friends! She looked after my cat while I was away on holiday and did a wonderful job - I would definitely recommend Emily for any of your pet sitting needs!

Emily has a wonderful way with animals. As well as being a student vet with all the advantages that brings she is truly committee to their mental health and is always coming up with innovative enrichment activities for our dogs to exercise their minds as well as their legs. I can highly recommend her, as can my dogs!

Emily is such a lovely person and is absolutely amazing with people’s pets, including her own. I would trust her with my pets in a heartbeat, and I know they would have the best care!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced garden, a small field is on the next road over for a game of ball, and an off lead country walk is 5 minutes away. I have a crate that I use for the nighttime, and if I pop to the shops but have a conservatory if your dog isn't quite there yet with their crate training. My dogs are allowed on the sofa and upstairs (but not on the bed).

Availability

Being a student, I am home all day either studying or on the long summer break. Therefore, I am able to provide your animal with all the attention they need. I am happy to adapt to your dog's routine, but as an example when my dog is staying we are up at 7am for a country walk before breakfast, followed by midmorning cuddles and naps, around lunchtime I take her on short on led walk around the block, and then the evening is another country walk.
