Pet care experience
I specialize in giant breeds, shy animals and am familiar with administering oral meds for both cats and dogs. I enjoy working with dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I currently work remotely for a professional dog walking company in Chicago as part of the admin team and have served as a walker/sitter for them when I lived in their service area. Since I work remotely, I will be able to spend more time in your home with your pets! I have experience with dogs ranging from Dachshunds to Great Danes. In fact, I currently have 2 goofy Great Danes of my own! My love of animals doesn’t stop at just the furry ones either - I have a pet bird and a ball python affectionately known as Bosley. I will be more than happy to care for your reptiles or other critters you may have!

Emily was amazing. She truly loved our dogs and when we came home our dogs did not even seem to miss us. She kept us in the loop daily and took the worry about leaving our dogs. I would recommend her to anyone. I have already scheduled her for all of our trips this summer.
All I can say is Emily is AMAZING!!! She stayed the night with our very spoiled black lab Levi while we were on vacation for 8 days. She is so sweet and I could tell from the moment I met her that she loved dogs and that she was the right fit for us and our boy!! I received daily updates and pictures which made me feel so much more relaxed on our trip! I knew our boy was in great hands!! We will definitely use her again and you should too!! Thank you again Emily for taking such great care of Levi!!
Emily is great! I'm only sorry that I'm moving out of the area and won't be able to utilize her services any long :( I would highly recommend her! She's very trustworthy, easy to work with and Boo loves her!

Do they have any triggers like leash aggression or fear of loud noises? How are they with other dogs or strangers? I'm very familiar in handling all of these things, so let me know! I love animals of all shapes & sizes!
A typical day
I like customize my care to your dogs needs. Do you have an elderly dog who has trouble walking? I am happy to slowly meander with your dog as far as they want to go. Lot's of energy? I'm up for a long, fast paced walk too! Is your dog really a nose with a dog attached to it? We'll stop and smell the roses (or fire hydrant) together!
