Pet care experience
I have had dogs of my own for my entire life: 29 years. I currently have 2 pit bulls, myself. Meanwhile, I've been caring for other people's animals for 12 years. I have cared for many different cats and dogs, as well as a number of chickens and some goats.

Emily did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She took great care of my 2 cats, even though they hid from her the whole time.
Our Callie had so much fun with Emily. It was wonderful for me to know she was so well cared for and safe and happy!
Emily did a great job taking care of our cat, Flartner, while we were gone for two days. She took him for walks and made sure he was well fed. I loved seeing the photos, which put my mind at ease. We could tell he got the attention he needed because he wasn't mad at us when we got home! Thanks for taking care of our little guy, Emily!
Emily was incredible! Every check-in came with 10+ photos of our cat friends and a great summary of how they were doing. We felt quite taken care of and would absolutely hire her again.

Please let me know how I can help you. I am located in Orford, just over the line from Wentworth. I am available midday through evening Monday through Sunday, to do drop-in visits (30-60 min) for your dogs (0-50lbs, any age) and/or your cats. Other types of small animals can be discussed. An additional travel fee will be applied if you are located more than 30 minutes from my residence in Orford. A discount can be arranged for extended bookings.

A typical day
Please note: I do NOT offer house sitting, as it is no longer practical for me. I ONLY do drop-in visits. If you are away for an extended period, I would tuck your furry ones in at night, go home and then return to them in the morning. I can pick up your mail and water your plants, as well. Ask me about other tasks. I have had many clients who chose this option. Not sure how Rover works? You request a service here, we chat about it here, we have a meet & greet at your house, then we both confirm the booking, at which point you will be asked to pay Rover. If you cancel up to one week before your scheduled service begins, you will receive a full refund. Rover pays me 2 days after I have completed your service. However, I am not employed by Rover; Rover is just an intermediary service. Hope that helps.

I like to provide animals with an environment full of love, enrichment and rewards. I am quite familiar with positive reinforcement training; I completed a university level course in Behavior & Learning Psychology and trained my own dogs with minimal help from professional trainers.
