Pet care experience
*Currently we are only booking guests from one family at a time due to the mysterious respiratory illness going around* I have a spacious property and a very dog friendly home. I’ll be supervising and interacting with your dog at all times and they will get loads of one on one attention. I want my guests to feel like they're at home, so they can play with toys, lay on the couch, or nap in the sun in my large, fully fenced in backyard. There are frequent trips outside but your pup will never be left unsupervised outside. If your pup loves fetch the backyard is long and the perfect spot to get a great run in! I want you to feel completely comfortable while you're away so feel free to give me any instructions you want! My goal is to make your pup feel as comfortable as they are at home and to help you enjoy your time knowing that they’re well taken care of.
Reviews
Emily did great with our two older Australian shepherds! We would recommend her highly.
Rogue loved staying over and the yard was perfect for her We would definitely recommend 100%
Phoebe loved her stay with Emily! She had a great time with all the dogs and came home exhausted!
Charlie LOVE's going to Emily's! He had so much fun staying with Emily's family he didn't want to go home! We did a couple short visits before our vacation to get him comfortable there and not only did it get him feeling at home there but it helped him get over his resistance to getting in the car! I'm so happy to have someplace that Charlie loves to go to now. It really makes the difference when leaving your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
I only accept a few guests at a time in order to maintain a safe, home-like environment. I don’t want it to feel like a kennel and want to be able to give my guests a lot of attention. When in our care guests are never off-leash outside of the house or fenced in backyard. I feed, play with toys, and give treats only when guests are in separate environments because food toy & treat guarding can be unpredictable.

Information Emily M. would like to know about your pet
We love and welcome all dogs. If you’re local we prefer to do a Meet & Greet before all new stays so all parties are more comfortable. Before we care for your dog we would like to know where and how they sleep, if they have any allergies, if they show any aggression towards animals or humans, and if there's anything else you would like us to know about your fur baby. We ask you to bring your dogs food, food bowl, bed, collar and leash, and any other comfort or necessary items so your dog feels as comfortable as possible. We can provide treats but it's usually best if you bring those as well so your dog will not experience tummy upset from change in food.
A typical day
We like to keep your dogs patterns as close to the way they are at home as possible. If your dog sleeps in their own bed or crate we will honor that. Typically their bed is in our room and door is closed (there is water in the room) so there's no getting into trouble while we're sleeping. Sometimes we will allow dogs in our bed.

Availability
Most of the time I’m able to work from home and have a very flexible schedule. When a guest is here who is comfortable being left alone (after talking to clients) I will work outside of the house for a couple hours a day occasionally.
