Hi there! I joined Rover in late 2016. I currently live in South Salem with my husband Alex, our dog Greta, and cat Monkey. I work part time, remotely and have flexible hours. I love to stay active so long walks with pups is perfection! I started out in Chicago as a live-in nanny so I have lots of experience house sitting and helping out other families. I am a reliable communicator and will always promptly respond to you, and will certainly let you know how your pup is doing! I have experience sitting for and walking multiple dogs at a time. Both my older sister's have large dogs, so holidays with them are always full doggy love with 5 dogs in the house. I have a dog of my own, Greta, that adds so much to my life. She LOVES park time and long walks/hikes - we frequently walk through Minto Brown for some adventures! Would love to get to know your dog/cat and love them as if they were my own! Please note that my husband and I share a car.

I have two high energy cuddle-bug dogs and Emily was fantastic with playing with them, cuddling with them, and communicating with me throughout her time. She’s responsible, clean, and an awesome photographer!
Emily was great. Abbey felt right at home at her place right when she got there. She was great at communicating during the stay, giving me updates on how my dog was doing, and she was flexible when I was running late to get her. I definitely hope she's available in the future, so she can dog sit for me again.
Emily was great, she helped us out on a last minute request. She sent an update and really cute photos. I was able to go out and not worry about my dog.

I don't have any breed preferences. I would like to know what kinds of activities the dog likes and if he is friendly with other dogs or not, if they are leash aggressive, especially encountering dogs on walks or at the park, etc.
A typical day
I love being out in the Oregon nature so trips to parks and nature areas are perfect for long walks. I played softball so I've got a pretty good arm for some fetch!
