I grew up with rescued greyhounds from the track, and credit my love for animals to my mom who was always dedicated to finding dogs forever home. I started working holidays for a pet sitting company as a teenager, eventually working at a doggie day care/boarding facility. From there I went on to work at a dog grooming salon for 7 years, where I became manager. I gained immense knowledge and hands-on experience through this job and met pets from every walks of life! I am extremely comfortable and experienced with anxious and reactive dogs. I can administer oral medication, as well as inject insulin. I also offer nail and paw pad trims, as well as ear and teeth cleaning at an additional cost. I have over 8 years of professional experience in this field and would love to speak with you about your pets specific needs! My services are priced on the higher end because of my unique and detailed care for your pet as well as my extensive experience. If your pet(s) require specific, detailed instructions for care, or have any types of special needs- I am the sitter for you!

My 9 year old Keeshond is very anxious even on meds but is a good boy. Emily handled him very well and seemed to be able to get him to relax a bit. She left the house clean and Rox brushed!! I will hire her again.

I make sure to follow home care details that include trash, mail, plants, and lights as well as light cleaning. I leave written notes for my overnight stays and/or provide daily updates with pictures and videos. Classical/piano music is often played and even the most anxious dogs have been able to settle down and fall asleep under my care.

I am experienced with socialization and enrichment activities and I am keen to dog behaviors and breed specific characteristics. My goal is to keep your dogs schedule as consistent as possible to ensure their comfortability and happiness.You can rest easy knowing that your pet is safe at home and that your home is taken care of as well. Availability
Majority of the sitters on rover have a full time job and use rover as a part time gig. However, this is not the situation when you decide to book with me. I am a full-time, and even sometimes round-the-clock professional pet sitter. I am with pets 24/7, whether it be my clients or my own dog, I wake up with them and fall asleep with them. I am blessed to have this as a full time job and have made really great relationships with my clients.
