As a life long animal lover, I am a Wildlife Rehabilitation Technician with 3+ years work experience with animals of all sizes. I have lived with a dog since I was 7, currently I have one tiny pup named Benny. I have walked neighborhood dogs all through my childhood years, then took care of my college and graduate school advisors’ dogs during holidays as an adult. Between my dog sitting and two years volunteering as a dog walker for my local animal shelter, I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have also cared for puppies and seniors, including my former roommate’s hospice chihuahua, who had survived mammary cancer and was living out her golden years. I'm used to being on my feet for 8-12 hour work days and happy to take dogs on long walks and mild hikes. I have experience administering oral and injectable medications to many different species of animals and am happy to handle any needed medications for your pet while you are away. I would love to get a chance to know your dog and other pets, and keep them company while you are away at work or on vacation! I am comfortable working with other pet animals in addition to dogs - I have 13 years experience working with parrots and have cared for reptiles, small rodents, and rabbits. I currently am available at all times to care for your pet out of your home.
