Hi there! My name is Emily, I am currently a sophomore at FIT studying Advertising and Marketing Communications. My publishing internship with Penguin Random House is coming to an end, so I am looking to free up my schedule doing something I love: hanging out with dogs! When I'm not working or studying, you'll probably find me counting the number of dogs on my street, or Facetiming my own furry friend (who I had to leave back home). I grew up with an adoration for animals. I have raised countless doggies, kitties, lizards, snakes, and yes, even a potbelly pig named Sammie. I spent a year volunteering for the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, an AZA Accredited zoo in Florida. There I learned how to care for exotic creatures such as tigers, venomous snakes, and giraffes!
