Pet care experience
I grew up with a house full of pets (including a black lab rescue, Benny!) that nurtured my intense love for animals, and have since become a veterinary technician and adopted a cat of my own. Since I am only currently working as a vet tech part-time, I have flexibility in caring for your pets as I would my own! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, chihuahua to newfie. I am also happy to work with dogs of any kind, special needs, high energy, anxious - all are welcome.

Emily is fantastic! She got my shy cat to trust her so quickly- and she’ll even snuggle with Emily. Emily is super communicative, professional, and nice. And she can administer insulin to take care of animals with special needs.
Emily takes my dog on great walks and gives thorough summaries of how things went.
Emily is great. I always feel like Lulu gets a day's vacation when Emily looks after her.

A typical day
My favorite things to do with the dogs I watch are go on hikes at the Wissahickon, work on tricks/training (I have even managed to teach my cat sit, spin, and paw), and snuggle on the couch.

Even working part-time at the animal hospital doesn't quite satiate my need to be friends with every dog ever, so I have 4 days per week available to dedicate to your pet's care
