Pet care experience
Hi my name is Emily and I am very personable and enjoy being around animals of all kinds. I have been pet sitting and babysitting for around six years now, and have experience with dogs, cats, bearded dragons, chickens, and other farm animals. I have grown up with all of the above animals and am familiar with different breeds, harnesses, and personality types. I absolutely love going for walks and runs and being outdoors, and I will happily give your animal plenty of attention and play time. I 'm very reliable and responsible and have worked with farm animals in addition addition to caring for domestic pets. I've had experience training dogs both from owning them and from volunteering at the Ojai Valley Humane Society. I am playful and affectionate, but still able to be assertive if your dog has a lot of energy.

Emily house sat for us from March 26-April 4 but the review window closed, so I booked her for a dog walk just so I could write this review. It’s never easy leaving your home and pets with a stranger but after meeting Emily we felt we could go on vacation without worry. She was warm and sincere at the meet-and-greet and our dogs liked her right away. She took great care of them, giving them lots of treats and cuddles. We received photos of happy pups dancing around and doing tricks for Emily—we could tell they were having a good time! Emily seems like the type of person who likes to leave a place a little better than she found it. We returned to calm dogs who barely missed us and an orderly house. As a special bonus, Emily left us a half loaf of sourdough bread that she baked! It was the perfect scene to return home to. Thank you, Emily!
Emily is lively, fun, sincere, extremely capable and loves animals. We needed someone to stay in our home for a weekend without much notice, and she made some arrangements so she could help us. She took good care of our two dogs and a cat, and gladly did some housesitting chores for us that aren't usually required, such as picking up several packages, and feeding the hummingbirds. We'd gladly use her services again.

Fantastic sitter for our pets. They loved having Emily take care of them and she was great at replying and looking after them at short notice. Highly recommend!
