Pet care experience
I am a recent Masters graduate, have been dogsitting since I was a kid, and always had at least one dog growing up. Some of them were energetic, some mellow, some nervous and standoffish, and so I am equipped to handle anything! My own dogs have had more than their fair share of ailments so I am well-practiced in giving dogs medicine that they need, whether that comes in a pill or is an ointment I have to put in their eye. I also know from spending time around dogs how to tell if they are comfortable, and if not, how to make sure that they can be.

Emily did a great job with our puppy Rudee!! She was very reliable and quick to respond to my messages. Rudee is almost 12 weeks old, so he has a lot of puppy energy but she didn’t seem to mind. She sent me pictures of taking him on walks even though it was raining outside. I would definitely use Emily again!!
Emily did a great job on short notice! She took Mayflower on a long walk and gave good feedback on her. She took cute pictures too!
Emily has loved animals for as long as I have known her. She has a long history of caring for her own dogs as well as pet sitting for neighbors. When she was a camp counselor, the camp dogs followed her and sought her companionship over all others. Emily is extremely responsible and has a loving disposition to all animals, especially dogs. She has my highest recommendation.

I am unable to host your dog at my house because my own dog is territorial, but I am completely comfortable staying overnight or leaving late and showing up early the next morning.

I have a lab, so I’m used to high energy and social dogs! I can bring my state park pass and take your dog to First Landing, or we can just stay in the neighborhood or yard!

I am currently applying for full-time work and caring for pets until I find a job, giving me lots of flexibility throughout the week! I occasionally go out of town on the weekends, but will keep my schedule updated.
