Pet care experience
I absolutely adore dogs of all size, age, and breed. I have grown up my whole life with at least one dog, so I have a lot of experience in taking care of them. I also, thanks to Rover, have experience with cat care! I am good at the basics such as walking, feeding, watering, medicating, cleaning up after, but also truly enjoy playing with animals and showing them affection. My goal is to be able to fill in for you and your family so your pets won't become too sad while you're away. Your pet(s) will be in great hands and I can't wait to help you out! I am available long- or short-term and upon last-minute request usually. For dog walking and drop-in visits I am available only in the evening during weekdays and weekends. Overnight stays are open to anytime during the week/weekend.

Our pups are always in great hands with Emily! She’s helpful, communicative and reliable.
We’ve had Emily sit our two mini schnauzers twice and she’s been awesome both times. She’s friendly to us and you can tell she loves spending time of the dogs. She’s reliable and has no issues walking both of them at the same time which is great! I highly recommend her.

To communicate the needs of your pets, I like to have a meet and greet where we go over details and location of various things. I find it helpful to have this info in some form of writing whether it be through rover or on a piece of paper so I can use it as reference during my stay. I am always available by phone during the stay should any questions/issues arise.
A typical day
I am adaptable to any kind of dog personality and any environment. I can be playful and run around with high-spirited dogs or I can relax and give affection to dogs who prefer a calmer approach.

I am currently in graduate school so am available for walks and check-ins mainly during the weekend, but could potentially do weekday evening visits. Overnight stays are available anytime.
