Pet care experience
I have lived with and cared for two beautiful cats for 8 years, and I catsit for my sister regularly! I also help out with caring for my housemate's two young cats on a regular basis, and I enjoy having a relaxing, playful time with my feline friends. I love taking care of my cousin's red Lab and have spent many weeks house/dogsitting for him. Jasper (the Lab) and I have a blast together and always look forward to exploring the surrounding area on long walks. I also have experience doing clicker training with my cats, as well as dog-training.

Pockets' stay with Emily was a dream! She was extremely engaged in learning about how to make Pockets' stay comfortable and communicative throughout the stay which gave me enormous peace of mind. I would highly recommend her and hope that Pockets has a chance to stay with her again!!

I have a car and am familiar with public transportation for dropping by to stay with, visit, and walk pets. My apartment is also available for boarding much of the time. I am conscientious of making sure that every pet’s needs are being met in a timely manner through frequent visits for hours at a time. And on the weekends, we’ll spend all day together.

A typical day
I love to explore natural and urban settings with my dog friends! I have many favorite parks and lakes to walk around in the Twin Cities, and I love playing games and practicing training with dogs as well. I'm a huge fan of dog parks when it's suitable for your dog's needs.

Availability
I take care of my own cats daily needs with the help of my family and friends. I am always happy to have a chance to spend time with animal friends in my day! I work full time at a non-profit doing activities in the community with two retirees, who both love animals--so my daily schedule is very accommodating for pet care.
