Pet care experience
We love to care for dogs! We’ll give your dog plenty of walks and exercise opportunities outdoors and cuddles at home. We are detail-oriented and diligent when it comes to pet care. Our dog has epilepsy and takes several different medications 4 times a day, so we understand the importance of following a strict medication schedule. We can accommodate your dog’s needs. We live in a dog-friendly apartment that overlooks Lafayette Park in Pac Heights. On weekends and evenings, we may go for longer walks through the Marina or Russian Hill to let the dogs have safe offleash play at the gated dog runs at Moscone or Francisco Park. Since at least one of us will always be home, your dog will always have company and would not be left alone. While out walking or at open parks, we will keep your dog on leash to ensure their safety.

I cannot recommend Emily and Jose enough. I was honestly worried that Squishy (my dog) would not want to come back home with me because she was in such good hands while I was away. Not only did she get amazing care and love at home, Squishy was also getting tons of exercise at Lafayette Park everyday, and she was getting great socialization with their sweet dog, Millie. I feel that Squishy actually came back a better dog and I am so glad I chose Emily and Jose. I also have to note that Jose is the first male that Squishy has really liked (other than myself). I was really able to be at ease and have peace of mind while I was away on vacation knowing Squishy was in great hands. Communication was top notch as well. They kept me in the loop about how Squishy was doing throughout the day and night with photos and texts. Additionally, scheduling introductions and pick ups was easy and smooth as well. They were a pleasure to work with all around.
Emily and Jose did such a wonderful job caring for our pup Pippa while we were on vacation! After contracting Covid while traveling, we needed to unexpectedly add another day onto our dogs stay and they were super responsive and helpful with that. We loved getting pictures every day and seeing all of Pippa’s adventures and walks to parks all over the city. She seemed really comfortable and relaxed with them!
Emily and Jose are the best! They send so many updates with pictures so you always know how your puppy is doing. Remy looked so happy in all the update pictures and I could tell how settled and comfortable she felt under their care. They’re super responsive and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be using them again!

I'll take photos and videos to share with you throughout the day to keep you up to date on your pup's adventures!

Availability
We both work from home and have flexible schedules that allow us to give our doggy clients lots of attention throughout the day. We take our dog out for a potty break about every 3-4 hours (but can do more frequently if needed). For reference we typically take our dog out for walks at 7am, noon, 5pm, and 10pm at a minimum, and often do longer walks or dog run times in addition to potty breaks. We can accommodate your dog’s routine.
