A happy, homely and healthy stay for your dogs :)

Pet care experience

Hi I'm Emily, I am the BIGGEST dog lover and overall animal lover you can imagine. Dogs make me the happiest ever and yes I'm that girl who stops and talks to every dog I pass in the street lol. I have grew up with lots of dogs in my family since I was born (I am now 26 years old), including my own family dog who is a Puggle called Max (he is in the two black and white pics provided). He is now 13 years old and is the most loved, happiest and spoilt dog ever. He has been my best friend growing up and he has the sweetest, most caring soul. I spend a lot of time outdoors, I love going to the park and spend a huge amount of time exploring. I'd love to help you out so I also have a little friend to explore with me :) I’ve just moved back home to Newcastle after studying my university degree in London. Throughout my time in London I have spent 2-3 years dog sitting, dog boarding, house sitting, dog walking and have met some of the most amazing doggos ever. Broke my heart leaving them all behind but I would love to restart what I was doing here in Newcastle! I’m very flexible also. As I’m back living with family, I will only be open to house sits, dog sitting in their home, dog walks etc. I will ask about any allergies/ dietary requirements I need to be aware of as well as asking how much and how frequent they need fed.

Emily was fantastic! She looked after our cat while we were out of town for a week and we are so grateful for the care and attention Emily gave to her. Emily was extremely responsive, professional, and communicative. Best of all, she sent lots of great pictures!

Emily was so quick to respond to our request to have Bruce, really reassuring, kind and flexible. Bruce had an amazing time by the sounds of it and was spoilt with attention and walks. Thank you Emily so much

Emily is a star and made me and my big, floofy boy feel very safe and secure during his boarding. Emily asked great questions and was obviously experienced and confident about meeting Swayze's needs during his stay. I got great updates and she was super communicative throughout. Will definitely book again soon and highly recommend!!!

Emily took exceptional care of our two dogs while we were away, going above and beyond in 40 degree weather to make sure they were safe and comfortable. Great communication and extremely flexible when our travel plans changed. The boys clearly loved their time at Emily's place and can't wait for their next stay!

I will ensure no food, small objects or anything that a dog mustn’t have is always out of reach. Will not feed the cat or dog out of the owners food plan. Will ensure to keep on lead on walks, unless they have been recall trained then I will be happy to let them off the lead in parks once we both build that trust with one another (me and the dog). Also shut doors behind me.

Information Emily J. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences at all, I love all breeds :) If he/she is a puppy I'd like to know if or not the dog is potty trained. If the dog has any allergies or an illness I should be aware of. How many meals a day do they eat/ how big is the potion. How many walks a day do they like, and how long for (maximum). Do they like other dogs? Do they like cats? Can they go off the lead on walks? None of these questions would influence or affect my decision for dog sitting, they're just factors that are important for myself to be aware of :-)

A typical day

There is still so many beautiful places in London I am yet to see, so I would love to take your doggy with me and explore new outdoor areas, parks etc. A few months ago I moved to Vauxhall so no longer live in a house with a garden, I now have a spacious pet friendly flat in embassy gardens. Though I’m close enough to walk to Vauxhall or battersea park with is beautiful and great for dogs. So I would play with them outside on dry days, and on the raining days we can spend time playing fetch and play with their other toys too. If they're a puppy I'd love to help continue with any training they need, such as sit. stay, lie down, paw, high five etc. as I have all this experience from training my own dog when he was a puppy (who is back in Newcastle with my mam as he is our family dog and not mine to take); he is very well trained. When we've came in from walks, if your dog is tired then we can just cuddle up and relax.
