Pet care experience
I’ve been in the veterinary field since 2016, but I decided to take it one step further and officially start dog sitting. I have knowledge of how to care for animals of all ages too. From 8 week old puppies to senior dogs. I also do very well with dogs that may have behavioral issues in or out of the house. I’m free fear certificated through school and already have loads of hands on experience with puppies that need a little extra love. I’m CPR certificated, knowledgeable about medications, and have the experience and knowledge to handle any situation that arises. Let me give your baby the best care while you’re out of town!

Emily was great!! She walked my husky a couple of times while I was gone for the day and sent awesome updates on how everything went. My dog also takes medication several times a day. I felt super reassured that she is a vet tech and was able to easily give him his medication. I will definitely be re-booking for any future walks or check-in visits. Thank you!!!
Emily was fantastic! She really came through when we were in a bind and our fur babies loved her! She was great at communicating and sending pictures! We will definitely have her take care of our dog and kitties next time we are away!
Emily is amazing with dogs! She has shown me that she is knowledgeable in dog handling and dog behavior time and time again. Emily is always my first go-to for getting my babies the exercise they deserve. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

I’m very flexible with your animals needs. I can easily give medications (even to the most stubborn friends) and have no issues getting dogs to kennel. If you have any special requests I would be more then happy to oblige! I’m the kind of pet parent that leaves a front to back note when I have to board. Nothing is to much! First and foremost please let me know any special request or if your dog is on a set schedule. I want to make sure I keep you as happy as your baby! If your dog is taking medicine please let me know how you give it. If your baby has a favorite toy, area in the house, and anything fun about them. If your dog has any behavioral issues. I am more than happy to work with any dog to make sure that their experience is enjoyable. I did months of positive reinforcement training with my own baby so I’m no stranger to these things. If your dog is friendly with other people or animals. Anything weird or different they may do. Do they like to smile or growl while playing? Even if you just want to tell me they like belly scratches. Everything you tell me helps give your baby the best experience!
A typical day
I cater to dogs of all energy levels. I love playing fetch as much as I do cuddling on the couch. I absolutely love finding new hiking spots and car rides. I tend to take my dogs to very wooded areas like red mill or pin hook bog but I also like walking around cities like LaPorte or Valpo. The concrete is great for helping grind nails down!

Availability
I am open every day and can spend all day with your babies. I love taking walks and know a lot of great spots if hiking is your baby’s thing, but I also know a lot of good movies if they’re more of a couch potato! I currently work nights so from 5pm-7am I am unavailable. I don’t have a set schedule, but I am free during the day to care for your fur babies!
