Responsible summer pet sitter!
Pet care experience
I am a teacher looking for summer work and possibly building relationships for jobs during the school year, if your pet's schedule allows! I am extremely responsible and reliable. I love taking care of animals. I have been pet sitting since high school (for reference, I graduated high school in '05!) and love spending time with animals. I do have a summer job a few weekend nights a week. This would require me to be away from your house for 6-7 hours. While I do not have a strict cancellation policy, I do ask that you let me know as soon as possible about any cancellations so that I can pick up another job. I do not have a ton of experience with senior dogs and I have no experience with disabled dogs or cats, but I am willing to learn if you are willing to teach me. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet!

Emily Harris is extremely responsible and reliable. She is readily available to help when I am needing a trustworthy and caring person to be around for my little boxer baby. Our little Vivian adores Emily and I can fully trust that she is cared for, played with and that Emily really does pamper her while we are gone:)
Emily is the only person we trust our dog with. She's loving, attentive, and loves dogs. She's very active and great with dogs who are active. She even takes the time to send us pictures while we are away of our fur baby!

Information Emily H. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know your pet's schedule and eating habits, any allergies he/she has, and any fears (i.e. thunderstorms) so that I can prepare for those, if necessary. I would like to know any house rules in detail (i.e. no sitting on furniture or no table food) so that I can continue to enforce those while you are away. It would be helpful to know any tendencies the pet has, such as attempting to bolt out the door when it opens. I love having instructions left for me so that I can refer back to them and can avoid bothering you while you are away. Anything to make sure I can keep your pet safe and comfortable while you are out of town!
A typical day
I am happy to commit to neighborhood walks! I have taken dogs hiking in the past, but will always check with you prior to taking them out on long adventures such as this. I am not necessarily comfortable with dog park visits if your pet has not spent much time around other animals. However, if you are a dog park regular and you feel comfortable with me taking him/her there without you, I am happy to do that.
