I have a family shihtzu who is 11 years old, as well as over 10 years of pet sitting experience. I am a genuine, kind-heart person who loves animals but do not have one of my own currently so this will allow me to still spend time with animals and care for them

We were nervous about leaving our dog Bunny with a stranger for the first time, but our fears washed away upon meeting Emily! She was so kind and considerate with Bunny, sent us regular updates, and made the whole process so easy! Bunny was so sad to see her go. We can’t wait to use her services again!
Emily is my absolute favorite dog sitter ! She does such a great job with my puppy Pluto! She always takes him on long walks, out to play, feeds him and makes sure he is comfortable ! I highly recommend Emily to anyone who is looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet !
Emily is always on time for plans and absolutely adores her mother’s dog Bailey. She currently holds 2 jobs and is dedicated to making and keeping a good impression with every person she meets. She is a great dog/ cat person . she has watched my Binxy (kitty cat) several times when I have been out of town on business. binx also enjoys his time with her very much!
I have known Emily Huber since she was a child. I have first-hand knowledge of her love for all pets, as she has taken care of my 10 yr-old Shih Tzu dog. She has cared for her during long periods of time where she watched her both at my home and her own home. The dog is always happy to see her; Emily spends time and takes care of her as if she were her own. I can always count on her when I need to leave town - it's so much easier on the dog (and me) than putting her in a kennel. She gets plenty of one-on-one time with the dog and Emily truly enjoys her company. Since Emily is very physically active herself and enjoys spending time outdoors, my dog gets plenty of exercise. Emily certainly would be an asset to Rover and all of your clients looking for a caring, reliable pet-sitter.

I live in a hardwood studio in Shadyside, with a large communal yard in front of the apartment building. Shadyside has many safe walking areas, grassy patches, and parks that we would visit throughout the day. I love taking walks and being outside as much as possible. Friends could occasionally visit who also love dogs if the owner allows

Sometimes dog hair bothers my allergies so I would prefer to not have dogs that shed a lot in my own home, but I will gladly go to the client’s home to watch the dog and walk it outside
A typical day
I live in a residential area with a yard outside of my apartment. The area I live in has plenty of sidewalks, safe walking areas, dog parks and large areas for dogs to run and play in. I enjoy being active and spending time outside so many walks will be taken!

Availability
WFH M-F with the exception of being in office 1 day per week. I also have a serving job that is 3-11pm typically one night/wk and usually one 7hr shift per weekend (10am-4pm or 4pm-11pm)
