Hey! I'm Emily. I grew up in Maryland but moved to Florida in 2013 for college. I have a BS in environmental science from NSU in Davie. I worked in animal care for more than six years before moving on to working within the park service. Now I'm missing my fix of cuddly critters. During my time in animal care, I worked with a wide variety of animals. This includes experience working with dogs and cats at a doggie daycare and working with small mammals at a rehabilitation facility where I administered medications. I've also worked with salt- and freshwater fish, reptiles, parrots, livestock, and other mammals. I've spent this past summer house and pet sitting with TrustedHousesitters. I've stayed in five different homes with dogs, cats, parrots, and chickens since May. I've been pet sitting more casually for the past 10 years in both Maryland and Florida. I've now gone almost a month without puppy cuddles and I need your help. I have heaps of experience, I love animals, and I love the sitting lifestyle. I'm new to Rover so my main goal would be to do a good job caring for your home and pets.
