Hi, my name is Emily. I recently completed my MPH at UW and now work at the DOH. As an undergraduate student, I was thinking of applying to vet school, so I have extensive experience with animals. I worked as a hospital assistant at a small animal practice for two summers, as well as at an emergency & specialty clinic in France for one summer. I am comfortable with caring for sick pets as well as those that need medication administered. In addition to taking care of my own pets, I have also pet sat a variety of different types of animals (including home visits and dog walking) since middle school. Additionally, I have experience with puppies and helped raise two litters of Bernese Mountain dog puppies from birth to 8 weeks in high school. I love all types of dogs and can't wait to meet yours!
