Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom to a 15-month-old baby boy. I have a 3-year-old male Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix, but he is currently living with my in-laws because unfortunately, my landlords do not allow pets. I decided to make a profile on Rover because I love animals. Sometimes I even think I like animals more than people! Working as a dog-walker/pet sitter will provide me a job doing what I love, while also allowing me to bring my baby along (he'd be in a stroller). Most of my experience comes from taking care of my family's dogs and my own dogs. However, I have also house sat for people in the past who had pets, and I was a nanny for a little over a year to a family who had two dogs. Breeds I've taken care of include: Pit Bulls, American Bulldogs, Shar-peis, Jack Russells, Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, and Pomeranians. Most were mixed, not pure bred, but I do have some experience with pure bred dogs. I'm a mother at heart, to people and animals, and if you hire me to take care of your pets, I'll love them like my own little pup.
