Pet care experience
I have had a dog ever since I was 7 years old and I have had experience with feeding her, giving her water, and keeping her active. I will bathe pets as needed as that ties into their mental health just like us. I will love your dog like it is my own.

Before Emily embarked (pun intended) on this journey, she would help occasionally with my dog, Nyala. We live somewhere that my dog can go outside without a leash. Nyala is really good about staying at home but Emily would come over to let her out and make sure she has food and water. Emily would also take the time to spend time with Nyala when I was away.

I will let the animals out as they need and I will give them lots of love and attention. I will follow the instructions that you provide to me about each dog. I would prefer doing overnight boarding at the owner’s home, I am very trustworthy as I understand that your home is a valuable asset along with your personal belongings. If a problem occurs I will contact the owner.

I have a senior dog she is around 12 years old so she is very tired and her nap time is something she values. I understand that not all senior dogs want naps and every dog has their own wants and needs just like us. Knowing the schedule that your dog is on is something that I would love to know. Potty breaks and feeding times are very important to me as well. Please let me know how active you want me to keep your furry friend and I will do everything in my power to keep them happy.
A typical day
I will take the dogs I care for on walks at least once a day if they are able. I will play with their toys with them. I enjoy taking dogs for a stroll around the neighborhood, park, or even hiking trails. I understand that keeping fur babies active leads to a happy dog or cat.

Availability
I always take my dog out first thing in the morning. When she is ready to go back inside I give her some love to start her day. I am a full time student at Concord University, but want to care for animals while I am on break. I work at American Eagle Outfitters part time at Mercer Mall. I feed her twice a day once in the morning and once at night. I also change her water daily and fill it as needed. Balancing pets with a personal life is very valued by me.
