Pet care experience
We are a young couple who both grew up with larger dogs and have always had and cared for dogs. We now have a house of our own, but are not ready to have a fur-baby of our own, and would love to spend puppy time wherever possible. I am a very active person, so taking dogs on long walks, beach walks, runs, playful park time, etc would be a wonderful break from the day for me. I am a scientist/illustrator who works from home on my own schedule and loves an excuse to get outside and play. I am happy to bathe, feed, housesit, run errands, and take care of your pup(s) as needed. We can offer day-care, overnights, or whatever you need to help.

What I appreciate most about Emily is not just her obvious love for animals (my pup fell for her immediately) but her professional approach. Pet sitting is not just Emily's side job – it’s what she loves!! My pup is a little fussy when we leave and refuses to eat his food, but Emily sat with him everyday until he ate and made sure he had the best of care and played until he forgot we were gone. I cannot fully express my gratitude to Emily for all of her hard work and the peace of mind she provided knowing my pup is safe when I'm traveling. I have been and will continue to recommend Emily to anyone looking for an amazing pet sitter!!!
Emily was very professional and responsible when it came to watching my dog. She has done many drop in visits for me and has always been someone I can count on. Emily was good about sending updates via messages and pictures and didn't leave a trace in my apartment, (even when my dog had a little accident). I would definitely recommend Emily to anyone who is looking for a professional dog sitter!!

I love all dogs and have no specific preferences, although I grew up with Golden Retrievers and they will always hold the soft spot in my heart.
A typical day
Walks, runs, beach time, play time. I love taking dogs to Carmel Beach and any other dog friendly beach. Jacks Peak is a hiking area I enjoy taking dogs as well (as a mandatory leash area).
