Bringing a smile to all Dogs

Pet care experience

- 1 year volunteering at dog rescue centre in Spain. Activities included - Walking (44km one weekend) / feeding/ cleaning runs/ taking dogs to the vet/ loving every single dog and most of all rehoming as many dogs as we could. - 1 year of Puppy sitting 2/3 times a week for a Black Labrador and German Sheppard. Activities included - Taking the puppies to puppy training/ walking/ bathing/ playing/ swimming and feeding. - Dog sitting for 3 dogs and 25 horses for 3 weeks whilst owners were on holiday, in the owners home to insure the animals routine wasn’t altered and they remained in the comfort of their own home. I have just graduated from university so I am free every day, whatever the weather, whatever the time, to provide a lovely day out/ sleepover or even just a walk for one of your beloved dogs. I have a fenced garden, so security isn’t a problem. I have no other pets in the house so your doggo would get undivided attention for the duration of their stay. I aim to walk dogs 3 times a day (age dependent) as my garden isn’t very big, a good sniff never hurt anyone. Any suggested feeding/ sleeping routines will be carried out to the best of my ability. Your dog would have the full run of my house, with lots of treats available and plenty of play time.

Emily housesat for us for a week and was absolutely fantastic. She's so friendly, helpful and communicative, sending a daily picture or two to let us know the animals were happy and being cared for. She was our first experience with house-sitting and has given us the best possible experience. Would highly recommend!

Emily was patient and caring with my rascal of a puppy. They seemed to bond immediately and she sent regular updates which was great to see. I would recommend her to anyone.

Emily is a very lovely and warm person with great enthusiasm and has a natural love for animals. Our dog Ragnar loved her as soon as she set foot in the house, and enjoyed his first walk with her this week. Would highly recommend!

Ronnie and Dexter had a great time with Emily. Dexter can get a little nervous and he took to Emily’s calming manor straight away. I will definitely be booking with Emily again whenever I need help. Thanks again!

Information Emily H. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special dietary requests, where they normally sleep (crate/anywhere in the bed), any allergies, any special needs or any medication that I need to give them throughout the duration of their stay with me.

A typical day

My main goal for a typical day would be to create a stimulating and safe environment for all dogs to be in for the duration of their stay. I would first let the dog settle in around my house, see all the different places and the garden. Then I would have a little play maybe see if they know any tricks, get to know one another, give some treats. Then I would take them for a walk (probably an hour, age dependent). Come back give them some food (if that was apart of their routine), and water of course. Then it would be time to rest from all the excitement. Potty Breaks would be provided hourly and then another 2 walks, one in the middle of the afternoon, and one just before bed.
