Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting since I was 15 years old starting off with close family friends, then quickly expanding. As I began sitting more and more I discovered what a passion I have for animals, and it just took off from there. I wouldn’t even classify this as a job because to me it’s not work, it’s fun. I’ve worked with all ages of dogs from 10 weeks old to 12 years old with medical conditions. I also have experience with dogs that come with their pack.

I have cared for plenty of different dogs and conditions from dogs in heat to dogs that need regularly scheduled medications. All the dogs that I care for are treated with the same love and care but ultimately cater to what they need from me. Some dogs are more playful than others and some just want continuous belly rubs. I make sure I keep the home I came to the same way I left it. The only way you will be able to tell I was there was from the ginormous smile on your furry friends face.

It is very important to know what boundaries they have ahead of time and what seems to trigger them. It is also key to know if they are friendly when it comes to meeting people or other dogs on walks. I also like to know what the dogs favorite things to do are, so I can get a sense of what to prepare so I can keep your dog engaged and having fun.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to new places on walks and play bunches of new games. In the summer the dog pool is one of my go to’s, but if your dog is not into that, tug of war is also a stimulating exercise I try to play(I try my best to keep in the game).

I have been building my own schedule for my various clients for 3 years and am able to balance my time very well. If there is ever any concerns with scheduling or time changes I am able to communicate and respond quickly.
