Pet care experience
I am a 3rd year veterinary student at OSU and have experience from both general and emergency animal hospitals! Animals are my passion and what I hope to care for my entire life so you know your pets will be getting the best care with me. My schooling also includes some behavioral training which was a lot of low stress handling techinques and basic skill training. If you would like me to try to work with your dogs to learn better behaviors or some simple commands ( for example: better leash walking skills) I may be able to help!. I’m active and can walk/jog/run with your pet. I love any and all dog breeds from extra small to extra large! I also love to check in and let you know how/what your pet is doing while you are away so you know they are having a great time!

Emily was great! She sent updates on my pup everyday and lots of pictures. I would 10/10 recommend her. I was nervous to leave my puppy because she is so young but emily made me feel comfortable and sure that my dog was in good hands.
Emily watched our puppy Lucy this past weekend & I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Emily was easy to communicate with & was so great to send text updates with pictures to ease our minds. I will definitely be contacting her in the future for Lucy’s care.
Emily got along with my lab and beagle instantly and I could tell they were very comfortable with her. I received updates and pictures from her while I was away which I really enjoyed and made me feel much more comfortable leaving my dogs with her. It was also great to know that she is a veterinary student and would know if my older dogs needed medical attention at any point during their stay. She is very friendly and even offered to help train my beagle so he walks better on the leash after I showed her how he pulls. Very caring and kind!

Anxiety levels while you are away. Have they ever bitten someone or another animal so I can be extra cafeful on walks. If they are staying with me are they okay with cats.
A typical day
Walks, jogs, runs. Hanging out outside or on my deck (supervised). I may not have a yard but will make sure they spend a lot of time outdoors if that’s what they like to do. My apartment also has a little enclosed dog park I could take them to run around.
