I have a rescue pit bull of my own and I live by the belief that I should treat your dog the way I would want my dog treated, which is with an enormous amount of loving kindness, attention, and enthusiasm! A little about me: I’m a 25 year old who works at Riverside Animal Care Center, which is an animal hospital and boarding facility. I am surrounded by animals! Previous to 2018 I worked as a registered pharmacy technician for 4 years. I have a love for medicine and animals, especially dogs! Education wise, I began a BSN program at Mount Carmel College of Nursing, completing most of my GE credits at Columbus State. Over the last few years I’ve decided to put that nursing degree on hold to figure out what career path would be right for me. I’ll be starting a veterinary technology program in the near future, but a degree in Zoology isn’t out of the question. I also take interest in reading scholarly articles about dogs and their behavior, biology, psychology, and training. My experiences: Medical experience & knowledge of dogs with health & behavioral problems. I have experience with: Elderly dog care, bully breeds, anxiousness, diabetic treatment, wound care, nursing mamas & pups, cat experience, exotic animal care, deafness, tri-pawed pets (amputees), aggression, giant breeds, teacup breeds, and more! If there is a medical reason why your pet is missing any vaccine, I need to be told about that. Proof of current rabies vaccine is the absolute minimum.
