one dog at a time pamper sesh! 👑

Pet care experience

THE TL;DR- 🐶 only boards one dog at a time (please note: must be hypoallergenic/low-shed due to SO’s light allergies, but he loves them) 🏃🏻‍♀️ can give lots of exercise! frequent walks (low impact or high intensity - you let me know) ⭐️ will give them so much love & attention 📷 you get LOTS of photos & detailed written updates to put your mind and heart at ease knowing they’re having a blast 🐾 vast experience & training (from rescue shelters) and experience with reactivity 🏠 a well-kept, large apartment with enough space for them to roam around Your pup will absolutely enjoy their time here 🤌🏼 —————————————— Hi there! A little bit about myself: I work full-time as a marketing professional and do part-time Rover purely because I love animals. I can assure you that I am reliable, highly organized, and responsible! Rover is really fun for me — I thoroughly enjoy being the cool aunt that they hang out with when their folks are on vacation! 😆 I’ve been volunteering with rescue organizations for many years, through which I've completed multiple training orientations and have socialized with dogs and cats of all histories, shapes, sizes, behaviors, and quirks. When watching over your buddy, I'll be sure to send lots of photos so you have peace of mind knowing that your pet is happy, well taken care of, and having fun. I am communicative and will be honest should any unforeseen issues arise, and you can count on me to provide you with updates. Rest assured, I take extra safety precautions and can ensure that your buddy is in good hands! ——————————————

As always, Emily provided amazing service! She took great care of our two pups. Made sure they got enough ball time and park time in one day. Thanks Emily! Lucky to have you as our sitter!

Wish I could give Emily more stars. She was absolutely wonderful. She was so patient with my 14 year old Yorkie who has "stranger danger" and anxiety and our 1 year old Bernadoodle loved her. She not only took amazing care of both of them but updated me frequently and was very communicative overall. I knew from our initial meet and greet she was great based on her demeanor and the questions she asked. But Emily FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. We certainly would have her help us again!!!

I am very grateful to have found Emily. She is a very organized, caring and detailed oriented young lady. She offered to do a meet & greet and asked questions about obi, took notes and made us feel very comfortable from the beginning. She had great communication before, during and after taking care of obi. I did not need to ask for pictures or videos. She sent us plenty. Obi had a great time and I was able to leave him without feeling anxious. I highly recommend Emily to look after your precious ?

BOARDING: I only accept one doggo client at a time (exception: multiple dogs are allowed if from same household) to prevent any potential resource guarding, aggression, or accidents. Please note that due to household allergies, I am only able to accept hypoallergenic/low-shed breeds to respect our shared space. WALKS: I can do brisk, I can do slow, I can take them on leisurely sniffing adventures—you tell me what works best for your buddy and I can do it! I can take them to nearby dog parks to burn off extra energy or play fetch, BUT I will not do so until I get owner approval AND can feel out their recall abilities.

Information Emily G. would like to know about your pet

Overall behavioral traits/any quirks I need to know about? What is your approach for undesirable behavior, and on the contrary, what is your approach for good behavior? Any special allergies? What is your pet afraid of (i.e. noises, various triggers, etc.)? How does your pet deal with being left alone for a short period of time? Is your pet food aggressive? What is their energy level? Specific preferences that I haven’t listed here?

A typical day

I love being active and will take your buddy on frequent bathroom breaks, walks, fetch sessions at the dog park or indoors in the living room, and more!

I do work full time during the week and can adjust my hybrid schedule to work from home (WFH). I can also bring well-behaved, non-anxious pups to the office with me — some pups find it exciting to receive unlimited pets and attention for a couple hours. I can do frequent bathroom breaks and walks, and they won’t be left alone for longer than errands I need to run for myself (I.e. a grocery store run). ——————————————
