Pet care experience
Hi Rover Community, I grew up with dogs all my life and I like getting to know their unique personalities. I have a rescue dog, Charlie. He’s a sweetheart 8-9 yr old pug mix and gets along great with other dogs. We are usually snuggled on the couch or playing fetch/tug inside the apartment, He has mild respiratory issues (like asthma) so we don’t do a lot of running, but make up for it with long walks all over the neighborhood. I was recently laid off from my job so my schedule is extremely flexible. I have not been sick with COVID-19 and would take all necessary precautions to keep you and your pets safe. Luna had a great time with Emily and we were so glad to receive so many photo updates of their adventures in the neighborhood. Emily left our home clean and was also flexible with her departure time. We would absolutely recommend her!
Emily was amazing! I got updates several times a day which provided real time photos of how content both of my fur babies were under her care. For their first experience having an overnight petsitter, I was quite nervous about how they would do, but Emily made every effort to keep consistent with all of their usual routines and gave them lots of affection.
I can't begin to express what a wonderful sitter Emily was. It was the first time leaving my "baby" for an extended period of time (and with me going overseas, no less), so of course I was stressed. From my first meeting with Emily (during our extended meet and greet) I was totally at ease and knew Moxie would be in great hands...and she was! From daily pics to updates (and even an offer for FaceTime), Emily was attentive, genuinely caring and a great communicator. She was instrumental in ensuring our vacation was a great success as we didn't have to stress about Moxie (as I usually would have) and she followed our outline of Moxie's schedule for feeding, walking and daycare (and I know there were lots of snuggles and play time too). If you're looking for a great sitter, someone you can trust - and like - Emily is your girl. Next time we leave town, there's no doubt we'll be calling on Emily (hopefully she won't be in too high demand by then)!

I don't have any breed preferences and found that I like caring for a variety of different breeds. I mainly need to know about the individual dog's behaviors, like sounds or things that cause stress. Like noises/doorbell, children, bigger dogs, etc.
A typical day
I love to go for long walks or go to dog parks. Playtime with a favorite toy indoors can be fun too, especially if the weather is not so nice.
