I have been an animal care technician at a no-kill shelter in Baltimore for the past four years. I have worked with all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and ages of dogs. My duties in the shelter included feeding, cleaning, medicating, providing toy enrichment, food puzzles, play yard time, clicker training, hikes, walks, and time in the pool! I tend to connect best with high-drive, active dogs who want to be engaged and challenged, but like everyone I can lounge with the best of the couch potatoes! While I have not done dog sitting (outside of family) in the past, I have two rescued dogs of my own and I have cared for hundreds of dogs on their way to their forever homes as a shelter worker!
