Hello! My name is Emily and I've been a huge animal and bug lover ever since I was a child. I grew up pet sitting and dreaming of working with giant whales one day as a career! I went into Vet Tech work after college and love my job! I work full time at a large veterinary hospital in the Bay Area. I just moved here from NC 2 years ago and have a lot of experience not only with dogs and cats, but exotics as well. I've worked with lions, tigers, foxes, wolves, and leopards to just name a few! Pet sitting has always been a joy of mine because I can take care of others animals on my own time and give them the love and attention they deserve and may not get in a boarding facility. I've grown up working in kennels, day cares, and now emergency animal hospitals. I am confident in my skills as a technician and believe it carries over into my pet sitting work. I go the extra mile to make sure that the animals in my care are happy and healthy at all times while their owners are away. Also, as a vet tech I know what to look for should any problems arise and have the skills to handle it. I know how to monitor old and/or sick patients, administer any kind of medication, and have access to a hospital if anything were to happen. I have a 14 year old corgi of my own named Zoey, she is my partner in crime and goes with me everywhere including work. She loves every dog, cat and human she's ever encountered!
