All breeds welcome! We don’t discriminate in this house. My first and foremost question would be your dog’s comfort with socialization. If I’m sitting in my house, I have 3 dogs (2 of whom are seniors). If I’m sitting in your house, I need to know how your dog will react if we run into another dog on a walk etc. I’d be curious about personality, if they like their space I can set up a crate for them. If they like to be with people they’re welcome on the furniture. I guess my three main questions would be socialization, energy level, activities they enjoy. Obviously any medical concerns as well. I’m very experienced with seniors, and have had dogs with issues like Addison’s and Cushings Disease.

Any activities you think they’d enjoy! There’s a nice 3 mile path nearby that we enjoy. If that’s too long we’re happy to change it up and do shorter walks around the neighborhood. If your dog likes car rides cool- I’m always happy to go on a coffee run with a buddy. We have a doggy stroller for elderpups or small dogs who like to be outside but not walk a lot. We enjoy spending time outside and are happy to do anything with your dog. Dogs who need more than 3-4 miles walking a day probably won’t be a great fit with me.
