Becoming a vet so dogs are my life!
Pet care experience
My name is Emily and I am a huge animal lover. I am currently going to school to become a vet and I also work at an animal hospital in Minden, NV. I am able to bring dogs with me to work however some dogs I do not bring with me just due to them being scared of the vets! I am a hiker/long walker person so be assured that your dog will get enough exercise when staying with me! I do live in a house with a fenced yard and a dog door! Right now my work schedule is Monday through Friday. I will be able to pick up and drop off and I’m somewhat flexible! I can still watch a dog during my work days because of the fact I can bring your pup to work with me if need be, and my boyfriend comes home for lunch every week day so they would never be left alone long!

Emily was amazing with Ben! He had a great time and was taken care of well! So thankful for her to watch him. Emily was very flexible with my schedule and was able to coordinate drop off and pick up to help me.
Emily was so trusting and fantastic to our dog, Aubrey. Emily was fast to respond, kept us posted on how Aubrey was doing during the stay, and was very informed about her needs. I would and will use Emily anytime we go out of town. By far one of the best Rover sitters I have used!

I always like to get to know the dogs personality so I can make them happy! Are they super energetic, or do they prefer to lounge around? Do they prefer to play with other dogs or play one on one with me and a toy? I just want to make your dog the happiest they can be during their stay!
A typical day
Your dog will be able to come with me to work which means they will always have company! On the days I have off, we will be able to go on hikes, or just a nice walk, and go to the dog park. And in summer I’ll take the pup to the lake!
