Animal Loving Dog Groomer!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Emily but I go by Nikki, and I work full time as a dog groomer and have been a groomer since 2014. I have also worked at a small pet feed store where I learned a lot of information about pet nutrition and working as a groomer only builds on my knowledge of dogs. I do work full time, so I have availability every day around my work schedule but am completely free on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. I have watched dogs for family, and friends before. I have always loved animals and lived on a farm for the first 7 years of my life where I developed a love of all animals. I have always had at least one dog in the house. I love teaching my dogs new things and one of my dogs is always up for learning new things! My dogs are my kids and I understand the bond between them. I'll look at yours the same way. Whenever I am out of town, I always wonder if mine are doing well. I miss them bunches! I am able to send pictures if you want them!

She did a great job again.
What a great first experience! Nikki treated Zulu just like we would have. When we would board him, he would begin to miss us. Him missing us turned into him being dominant. By utilizing Nikki's services, he was able to stay at his home and be comfortable. If you have these type of issues with boarding your animal, I would recommend scheduling her. If you are just in need of a caring dog walker, I would recommend her. Thank you again Nikki!!!
Emily is the most responsible and loving pet parent I know. She has a lot of passion for dogs and I've trusted her to care for my dogs anytime I go out of town. My dogs love her and I'm always happy with how well she does with them every time, especially since one of my dogs can be pretty difficult for others to care for.

I’ve no breed, size or gender preferences. Herding breeds are my favorite but I like dogs of all breeds :) I ask lots of questions, Sorry! Is the dog up to date on all their vaccinations? Is your good with other dogs? Do I need to walk your dog with anything other than a collar? Are they allowed to Pull? Is your dog scared of anything? Is your dog reactive about anything?
A typical day
For Drop-in visits, it depends on your dog and preferences! I sometimes play ball or frisbee, go on a walk around the neighborhood, play tug or with toys, and anything else they want to do or find fun! For Dog walking, I prefer to stick to their normal walk if they have one especially if you're away! This way they still have a routine walk even if it's earlier/later, it's a similar surrounding which provides comfort!
