My belief is that your dog should remain in an environment specific to what you have provided. Consistency is key. I like a somewhat detailed description of what my client does on a normal basis with their dog/cat so that I can keep that up. Especially clients that put an emphasis on training.

I focus on walks and playtime because I am used to a high energy animal but I am very considerate of different breeds such as the great dane that I watch who is sensitive to heat and therefore cannot spend as much time outside and needs love and petting inside. I love getting close to the animals but I think its also very important that I maintain a leadership role as not to spoil them too much and keep them behaving well. I make my own treats which I give as a reward for good behavior. I like to get details of the dogs normal day and do exactly that because routine is very important for them.
