I'm an active animal lover with an open schedule for the foreseeable future. I love going for long walks and exploring new areas. I've had dogs for 18 years, studied animal sciences, and have experience with training as well. As an experienced dog walker and sitter, I will be more than happy to walk and play with your dog! I have 18+ years of experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and abilities. I'm dependable and consistent, and I will not let you down. I can be easily reached and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule and your dog's needs. I love all breeds and will strive to make you and your furry friend happy! You can expect pictures, updates, and for your dog to be loved and treated like my own. I also come prepared with compostable poop bags. Emily was a godsend for us! Our dachshund is a rescue and afraid of cages, little kids and not very used to other dogs. We needed a dogsitter for 3 nights. She took to Emily right away and got along with her fun corgi. Emily treated our baby as if she was her own, communicated with us great throughout- we will use her for all her future needs!
Emily was a WONDERFUL sitter for our two dogs.....one who is high energy, the other 'special needs'. She was warm and welcoming and very accommodating. We HIGHLY recommend her and will not hesitate to use her again!
I have known Emily for a long time and one of the sweetest things about her is how her true self shines through when she is around her dogs or other animals. You will quickly see how extremely caring and genuine of a person she is, and that she truly cares for the wellbeing of any and all animals. She has trained multiple dogs and has been trusted by friends and family to care for their pets for years. I trust her over anyone else to watch my dog. I know he is safe with her and that he’s getting the right food, exercise, and possibly even a treat or two…but only if he’s earned it.

A typical day
Walking through the neighborhoods or down the bike path, I always carry a pouch with low-calorie training treats to practice tricks and basic obedience. Mental exercise is just as important as physical exercise! I’ll always ask ahead of time if your dog has dietary restrictions and if it’s ok if I reward them with treats on our walk, or if you would prefer to provide the treats. Does your furry friend have a favorite toy or activity, or would you like them to brush up on or even learn some new tricks? However I can help, just let me know!
