Let me know of any quirky behaviours, especially on walks, I should be aware of! If they’re good off leash or strictly on leash. We fostered a dog (later adopted) who turned out to be very reactive on walks, would lunge at cars and cyclists and bark at anyone or anything passing by. She was absolutely fine when she was off leash, we think she was trying to protect us:)
A typical day
I like to keep things fun and interesting both for me and my pets. I like checking out new spots, some days bigger hike-type walks, some days more leisurely strolls. I love playing frisbee with my dog (it’s his favourite) when I visit home. I also plan on taking out my paddle board so if you have a water loving dog let me know I’ll take them on all the adventures! At the end of my day I love curling up with a good book to relax and recuperate for the next day ahead.

I grew up surrounded by pets and was the primary care taker for my dogs from the age of 10 to when I moved out a few years ago. I have experience with mid-large sized dogs (I had two lab mixes and a German Shepherd) and basic experience with reactive dogs. I love being outside in nature and love taking care of animals so I try to mix both whenever I can! Minimum three walks a day? Check! Cheeky little hike or dip in the lake? Check! Plenty of cuddles? Double check! Je parle en français aussi, n’hésite pas à m’envoyer un message!

I’m Mia , I have seen Em around not just their own animals (cat and dog) but many others and all I’ve seen from them is providing a safe and comfortable environment for any animal! It’s so heart warming to see someone get as excited as Em does not to just see animals but to give them a life they deserve; short lived or not .
