Pet care experience
Hi! I am a current veterinary student at Ohio State. I’ve been working in the veterinary field for 9 years now! I love helping both people and animals. I would love to meet you and your pet! I’m currently in school but it has been hybrid learning for 2 years now. On days where I have to be in class, I will still be able to provide morning, afternoon, and evening care if applicable. Prior to starting in the veterinary field I would watch peoples dogs, other pets, or farms while they were away. I am very comfortable giving medications and would be more than willing to follow any special accommodations that your pet may need.

Our girl was happy and content after her week with Emily. While we were gone, Emily sent pictures and kept us informed. I would definitely use Emily again
Emily is always very attentive with our dogs and gives them lots of love when we’re away! We will definitely continue to have her watch our dogs when we are out of town.
Emily was a great house sitter! She drove out to visit before hand, and sent updates! She had to take care of our doggo who was throwing up in the middle of the night, but was so helpful and extra caring for him! We will definitely have her again in the future!
Emily is beyond fantastic. She’s extremely friendly and definitely knows her way around animals. She was a rock star with all four of our dogs, including a geriatric Great Dane and a very anxious Greyhound. We couldn’t have asked for better care for our dogs, and I’m pretty sure my house was cleaner than when we left it!

I think it’s important to have the owner describe what a typical day is like for the pet. That way, I can try to mimic that in order to reduce stress. It’s also good to know the activity level of the dog and what some things they enjoy are!
A typical day
I like to get to know the dog or dogs I am watching to know what they like to do best! If they’re a very active dog, we can run around and play fetch. Or if they’re a more laid back dog we can just hang out with each other and I can provide belly scratches. :)
